Freedom of Information

As a part of Lancashire County Council, the Freedom of Information Act 2000 applies to ParkWise. The Act aims to promote 'openness', and make information held by public authorities more accessible. It gives people the right to ask for a wide variety of material, and since the Act came fully into force on January 1st 2005, ParkWise has received many requests for information.

ParkWise wholeheartedly supports the spirit and provisions of the Freedom of Information Act, and in the following section we have provided details of the requests received and our responses to those requests that are of general public interest.

Parkwise seeks to be open and accountable and already provides the public with a great deal of information about its activities.
